•  Satara Kolhapur updates Heavy vehicles carrying essential commodities fuel gas milk grocery and water started at 7.30 am today only going to Kolhapur. However the road towards Belgaum is still closed. No light vehicles are allowed on Highway as yet. Only oneway traffic towards Kolhapur from Pune end is plying till now 9 am continuous safely. This traffic is plying in 2 water at two locations. The water level is decreasing. Traffic is kept on hold between Satara to Kolhapur for the 6th day in a row due to the submerged condition of the highway at some of the locations between Satara to Kolhapur. They have tried run for heavy vehicles but did not succeed as the water level is still around 2 to 3 feet on the highway. They will take a call for resumption of traffic tomorrow if at all people want to go to Bengaluru they may go via Solapur.
